Website pricing and packages for Toronto small businesses

Northbridge Studio believes in transparent, upfront website pricing and clear project packages for business owners across Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, and Ontario. We do not hide our rates behind sales calls or surprise you with hidden fees. Instead, we publish our starting points to help you plan your marketing budget with confidence.

Every new project is scoped around your actual business needs. We start with a free, detailed website review to analyze your current site structure, page speed, mobile formatting, and SEO copy. This allows us to make an honest, practical recommendation - whether that means starting with a focused repair sprint, building a complete custom redesign, or upgrading your WordPress setup to be more stable and easier to maintain.

What affects price

The final price of a web design or development project depends on the amount of preparation, custom design, content structure, proof, platform work, and launch risk that needs to be handled. A site with a handful of clean pages and a simple contact form requires far less setup than a larger commercial site with customized templates, forms, ecommerce, redirects, or CMS requirements.

We evaluate factors such as sitemap depth, the quality of existing content, CMS preferences, whether WordPress, Shopify, or WooCommerce needs cleanup, and whether technical SEO or AI search readiness should be handled during the build. The goal is to focus budget on the pages and details that influence client trust and inquiries, avoiding unnecessary complexity that increases cost without adding value.

  • Number of pages
  • Copywriting and content structure
  • CMS, WordPress, Shopify, or WooCommerce needs
  • Design complexity and brand direction
  • Forms, integrations, analytics, and redirects
  • Technical SEO, AI search readiness, proof, and performance work

What changes the scope

These are the practical reasons one website quote becomes larger than another. They help keep pricing tied to the real work instead of vague page-count comparisons.

Page types and reusable sections

A simple site with a homepage, one service page, and contact flow is different from a site with multiple service templates, proof sections, pricing blocks, landing pages, and reusable CMS sections.

Technical SEO and AI search readiness

Search work changes scope when titles, metadata, redirects, schema, internal links, service-page clarity, crawlability, or AI-search context need to be cleaned up across important pages.

Conversion, speed, and launch risk

A project becomes larger when forms, booking flows, checkout details, performance, analytics, redirects, accessibility, or relaunch checks need careful handling before traffic is sent to the site.

What is not included unless scoped

To keep our packages focused and cost-effective, we scope ongoing tasks and separate design disciplines individually. Our standard website packages do not include full brand identity design, logo creation, premium third-party font licensing, copy writing from scratch, advanced custom animations, large e-commerce inventory migrations, or ongoing monthly marketing retainers.

Hosting, domain registration, premium plugins, and other third-party provider fees are paid directly by the client. Brand strategy, domain migration assistance, professional photography, or long-term SEO management can be scoped separately when needed.

FAQ

What happens before we start designing?

The first step is planning. We review the business, the current website if there is one, the services or offers, the pages that matter most, and the questions a visitor needs answered before reaching out. That makes the design and build more focused from the start.

Do I need to know exactly what package I need?

No. Send the current website, what you want changed, your rough timeline, and any budget range you are trying to stay near. We can recommend the closest-fit option or explain when a smaller first version makes more sense.

Will I see the website while it is being built?

Yes. You are kept in the loop as the direction comes together. We share the important decisions, asks for feedback when it affects the result, and keeps the work tied to your services, proof, content, and contact path.

Why are these starting prices instead of fixed prices?

Because two websites with the same page count can still require very different work depending on copy, design complexity, platform, integrations, redirects, SEO, and launch needs.

Can we start small and improve the site later?

Yes. Many small businesses are better off launching a clean first version, then improving content, SEO, extra service pages, ecommerce details, or platform support once the foundation is working.

What happens during review and launch?

Before launch, we review the mobile layout, page flow, forms, metadata, redirects, analytics, and important contact paths. The goal is to catch the practical issues that affect visitors before the site goes live.

Is support included after launch?

Website builds include 30 days of post-launch support for small fixes, questions, and launch cleanup. Ongoing support, WordPress maintenance, technical SEO, content updates, and improvement work can be added separately when the site needs continued care.

Does SEO or AI search visibility change the price?

It can. Basic page titles and launch checks may fit inside a website package, while deeper work around redirects, schema, technical SEO, service-page structure, crawlability, and AI search readiness is priced separately.

Who arranges the website hosting?

Northbridge does not sell or manage hosting plans. Your hosting account stays in your name and is paid directly to your chosen provider. When included in the project scope, Northbridge can handle the technical launch into that client-owned account.
