The website had to feel like Yeju before it explained where to find her.
Yeju already had an active world across Spotify, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and other platforms. The missing piece was a central experience with its own point of view: somewhere a new listener could understand the artist before choosing where to continue.
The project was intentionally kept to one page. Rather than inventing tour dates, merchandise, or a newsletter, we organized the real material around the artist story, the upcoming album, existing releases, performance video, and community destinations.
Ocean light, analog texture, and oversized type formed one continuous world.
The earliest reference established the value of cinematic scale, but Yeju's own imagery called for a different palette. Cloudy ivory, pale ocean blue, charcoal, sea-glass, and muted lavender became the system, with film grain and pearlescent details adding texture without overpowering the photography.
The opening hero, manifesto, release artwork, discography, platform imagery, and footer were composed as chapters of the same experience. Large typography creates identity and pacing while the supporting interface stays compact enough to keep the music and photographs in control.
Every expressive interaction still needed to feel calm on a phone.
The discography became the most detailed interaction: a dominant centered release, smaller neighbors, subtle record peeks, automatic progression, direct controls, and a brief title scramble. Its timing and touch behavior were refined so visitors could explore it without losing the page's vertical scroll.
The final pass also covered responsive typography, mobile menu behavior, embedded video controls, reduced motion, keyboard navigation, and image loading. Those details keep the cinematic direction usable rather than treating motion as decoration alone.

Yejuniverse translates Yeju's soft, dreamlike visual identity into a cinematic editorial website built around ocean imagery, analog texture, and the physical presence of her releases.
