AI coding work becomes difficult to trust when project context, requested authority, commands, file changes, and verification are hidden inside a generic chat surface.
How the design and build fit together.
We shaped the product around separate but connected surfaces for projects, models, task activity, permissions, knowledge, skills, and evidence so each run is easier to direct and inspect.
The first job was making the unit of work concrete. Vicode starts with a real project folder, then keeps the chosen model, instructions, capabilities, and requested permissions visible around the task.
What the project includes.
The interface separates project navigation, model management, Agent Studio, knowledge, skills, activity, and evidence without letting those surfaces drift away from the conversation they support.
Real project folders, local and hosted model paths, Agent Studio, Project Knowledge, reusable skills, approval levels, and attached command and change evidence define the current experience.
