PairSend product / project context
A private file-sharing app for an everyday moment: something is on your phone, and you need it on your laptop.
PairSend is our own product for moving files and text between two devices. We wanted the website to start with that everyday need, then make the first transfer easy to follow.
Visitors need to know what to do on each device and what happens to their files. Explaining that clearly matters more than leading with the technology behind the connection.

What Northbridge built
We brought two actions forward: start sending or join with a code. Warm colours, generous spacing, and a three-step walkthrough carry the same straightforward approach from the homepage into the app.
The refreshed website and app tell the same story: start a private session, connect with a code or QR, and send what you need. Privacy details sit alongside the steps, where they help people decide.
Browser-based file and text sharing, QR or code pairing, temporary encrypted sessions, and optional saved devices on paid plans.

Making the handoff clear
Warm ivory, dark type, and simple device illustrations make a technical product feel approachable. The design keeps the next action easy to find.
The homepage starts with a familiar situation: a file is on one device and you need it on another. Two clear actions lead into the transfer.
The design pairs warm ivory surfaces and dark type with simple diagrams. Privacy is explained through practical details about encryption, session expiry, and downloaded files.
The app keeps the same language and visual style, with a focused choice to start on this device or join another one.
- A consistent design across the website and transfer app
- Clear starting and joining options, supported by a three-step walkthrough
- Practical privacy explanations before the first transfer
