Massage Finder Case Study

A Canadian directory website built for a GTA client, with searchable massage listings, local SEO structure, business profiles, and mobile-first comparison paths.

Massage Finder project context

A Canadian directory website built for a GTA client, with searchable massage listings, local SEO structure, business profiles, and mobile-first comparison paths.

A Canadian client in the GTA needed a niche directory that could help people compare local massage businesses by city, service category, and direct booking path.

Directory websites need more than a polished homepage. The site had to support crawlable location and category paths, useful listing details, owner trust signals, and a structure that could grow without turning into thin SEO pages.

  • Business type: Local Directory.
  • Client: Canadian directory client.
  • Role: Directory UX + Front-End Development + SEO Foundations.
  • Timeline: Directory launch + SEO foundations.
  • Project date: Recent build.

What Northbridge built

We built Massage Finder around reviewed listing data, mobile-friendly comparison flows, city and category browsing, Google Search Console-informed keyword planning, and profile setup work that connects the website to broader local authority signals.

The finished site gives the client a professional directory foundation: fast pages, compressed imagery, crawlable routes, service categories, listing profiles, claim and correction paths, and enough SEO structure to support long-tail local search work over time.

City browsing, category pages, listing profiles, claim and correction flows, business-owner entry points, compressed visual assets, structured metadata, and local SEO setup shape the directory.

Massage Finder Directory Build

Massage Finder needed to feel calm and trustworthy while still behaving like a practical comparison tool.

The project started with the search behavior behind the directory. People are not looking for a generic wellness article when they search for massage options in Toronto or the GTA; they want nearby places, service types, booking paths, and enough trust context to choose.

We shaped the site around long-tail, high-intent search surfaces: city pages, category routes, listing profiles, comparison copy, and guide content that can support searches around massage type, neighborhood, and booking intent.

The launch work also covered the practical SEO foundation around the website: Google Search Console setup, profile and social connections, image compression, mobile layout checks, metadata, internal links, and business-directory authority signals.

  • A live Canadian directory website launched for a GTA client
  • City, category, and listing routes were structured around long-tail local search intent
  • Technical SEO, performance, mobile layout, profile connections, and search monitoring were set up from the start
